Western New York Index

The Western New York Index 28 (WNY28) is a stock market index that measures the performance of equities in the seventeen county area* considered to be the Western New York region. The index is weighted by market capitalization. The larger the company, the heavier it is weighted on our index. It is our goal to track the performance of these companies and offer the performance of Western New York corporations to its citizens.


*These counties include Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Chemung, Erie, Genesee, Livingston, Monroe, Niagara, Ontario, Orleans, Schuyler, Seneca, Steuben, Wayne, Wyoming, Yates.
